Contemplating Suicide

Decaying despair dismisses decadence

Gnawing like a pecker on the bark

But decadence will always be there

Grinding at you like a shark

Rips away the essence of you

Tears your sanity adieu

I stop to think about how it can get better

But the ship sinks and my eyes cloud over

Falling into the depths

The colours all surreal

I’m enclosed in a prism

But there’s no escape for me

It’s white, it’s bright

Though there’s nothing

I feel like my plight

Is never ending

And I gaze at the sunset

And I gaze and I stare

Rain falls; I get wet

I wish I wasn’t here
